Parent Consultations are held twice a year. These meetings allow the parents and teachers to discuss each child's progress and to identify their next steps. Children are welcome to attend these meetings.
Every half term we hold a Workshare Wednesday event. Parents and family members are encouraged to come into school and to look through their child's learning with them, teachers are also available for a chat if you have any concerns. We also plan to hold regular "share" sessions where parents are invited to come and join in learning with their children.
Once a year you will receive a written report about your child's progress. In this report you will be told how well they are achieving against age related expectations and about their learning behaviour. If your child is in year 2 or year 6 you will also receive information regarding their SAT results. Following our parent questionnaire in the summer of 2014, we are looking at ways to report to parents in written format on a more regular basis.
If you have any concerns about your child's progress, please do not wait for an organised event to speak to teachers. Staff are regularly available to speak to before and after school.
We regularly seek parental views on the school. Please find the latest questionnaire results attached below.
